
The Assistant Vice President (AVP) of Loan Servicing is responsible for overseeing and enhancing the quality, efficiency, and compliance of loan servicing commercial and consumer lending across the organization. This role ensures operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and accurate servicing of loans. The AVP supervises team leaders of Loan Servicing and provides oversight of loan servicing functions that include SOX related controls, while collaborating across departments to ensure efficiency and the highest standards.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversee the functions of the loan servicing area including oversight of general loan servicing for commercial and consumer loans, SBA reporting and servicing, secondary market sales, credit bureau reporting, participation loans, swaps servicing, escrow, and mortgage servicing requirements.
Oversee Loan controls within the functional area as it relates to SOX.
Interacts with internal compliance and audit teams ensuring that all findings are addressed timely, resolved, and processes are updated accordingly.
Ensures the timeliness of loan servicing and booking processes while setting accountability for high standards.
Identify training needs for staff and assist with career development.
Manages projects that impact Loan Servicing area and is responsible for effectively communicating changes among Departments.
Resource for internal staff, other departments, and outside agencies by performing a variety of customer service activities including responding to requests, researching discrepancies, and resolving issues.
Maintains current knowledge of banking and lending rules and regulations and assures compliance with all bank policies and procedures, as well as applicable state and federal regulations.
Responsible for management and development of Loan Servicing Leads. Conduct annual performance reviews and quarterly 5-5-5’s.
Actively participate with other Department Team Leads to make processes within areas to function more efficiently.
QUALIFICATIONS
7-10 years of Commercial and Consumer loan processing and/or documentation experience
Demonstrated leadership, team building, and management skills
Strong oral and written communication skills
High attention to detail and knowledge of rules, regulations and policies relating to loan documentation and servicing
Knowledge of Fiserv and Premier platform preferred

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS The typical annual base pay range for this role is between $94,500-$114,350. Compensation may vary based on individual job-related knowledge, skills, expertise, and experience. This position is eligible for a discretionary annual incentive program driven by organization and individual performance.
