April 17, 2026 Position Summary: Join democracyFIRST as a passionate and motivated Field Organizer, where you will play a vital role in electing pro-democracy candidates to local positions in Wisconsin during the spring 2026 cycle. This is your opportunity to make an impact by engaging with voters and supporting our election integrity efforts. As part of a dedicated team, you will be stationed in one of our campaign offices located in Green Bay, Racine, or Waukesha. Please indicate your preferred location in your application. This position is part-time only. If you are seeking a full-time role, please apply separately. This role requires reliable transportation and availability to work evenings and weekends early in the campaign phase, especially during the GOTV period. Catered to those looking for part-time work, you can expect up to 30 hours per week. Please note this position does not include benefits. Key Responsibilities: Meet daily and weekly door-knocking goals set by the Field Director. Stay accountable to metrics and goals outlined in the broader field plan. Foster a positive and supportive team culture. Perform various duties as assigned. Qualifications: Minimum of 1 election cycle (or 1 year) of organizing or management experience in political campaigns, community organizations, or customer service. Proficient with Google Workspace (Gmail, Calendar, Docs, Sheets, Drive). Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail—able to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Flexible and solution-oriented mindset. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Capacity to work independently according to a strategic plan. Access to reliable transportation. Availability to work evenings and weekends, particularly during the GOTV phase. Preferred Qualifications: Familiarity with VAN/Votebuilder, Mobilize, and other campaign technologies. Experience with social media for volunteer recruitment and event promotion.
