Key Responsibilities
Lead U.S. indirect tax compliance ensuring accurate and timely filings and payments Manage state and local tax rate compliance and taxability analysis across multiple jurisdictions Oversee tax system configuration and accruals, ensuring accuracy and compliance Partner cross-functionally with finance, business units, customer care, and external advisors to resolve tax issues and support initiatives Lead and support tax audits, legal entity compliance reviews, and business transformation projects Drive process improvements and support optimization of tax positions within regulatory guidelines Collaborate with customers and internal teams on taxability, exemptions, disputes, refunds, and system updates Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 5-7 years of relevant experience (or equivalent combined education and experience) with a focus on indirect tax Experience with tax engines and systems (e.g., Vertex, OneSource, TaxWare, SAP) Strong background in sales, use, and property tax compliance across multiple jurisdictions Proven ability to lead projects, manage priorities, and drive change Advanced analytical, communication, and collaboration skills CPA and public accounting experience a plus The SR Group (UK) Limited is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy.
