As the Vice President of Sales, you will drive growth across the German market and have full ownership in scaling a high‑performing sales organisation. This is a hands‑on leadership role for a true builder and operator – someone who loves being in the action, leading from the front by closing your own deals, and setting the pace for performance. You will lead a top‑tier team of AEs, coach and hire exceptional talent, and personally engage in complex, high‑impact deals.
At a pivotal stage of BLP’s growth, this role carries meaningful ownership and visibility across the business. You will shape how we compete and win in the German market, selling directly to CEOs, CFOs, CPOs, CSOs, and CIOs across leading industrial and retail companies, helping them reimagine operations through intelligent ERP automation. Your leadership will directly influence revenue growth, market positioning, and the standards by which the sales organisation operates.
Location London, Berlin, Munich, Cologne, Düsseldorf, Frankfurt
Candidates must be based in, or willing to relocate to, one of these locations and able to travel regularly within Germany.
Key Responsibilities
Build and lead a high‑performing team with fast ramp times and strong productivity, fostering a culture of excellence and transparency.
Develop and refine our sales playbook to conduct regular team training to improve objection handling, enhance our value proposition and conversion rates.
Develop and own accurate forecasting models and KPIs, taking full accountability for revenue outcomes by driving predictable performance against targets.
Run rigorous pipeline reviews and hands‑on deal coaching that reveal what’s really happening in accounts, driving the right actions to improve speed, quality, and win rates without adding unnecessary bureaucracy.
Personally develop and close deals to directly contribute to revenue targets, leading complex sales cycles and engaging senior stakeholders across Finance, Procurement, Operations, IT, and Sales.
Stay ahead of ERP and AI automation trends to effectively position BLP against competitors and align with customer needs.
Requirements
Native‑level German and strong professional fluency in English.
Significant experience in B2B software sales, ideally within SaaS or enterprise technology environments selling complex solutions (7+ years).
Demonstrated ability to manage multi‑stakeholder buying groups, aligning business, technical, and operational decision‑makers.
Track record of consistent performance in environments involving multi‑stakeholder buying groups and extended sales cycles.
Experience operating in fast‑scaling organizations, either through meaningful revenue growth phases or within high‑growth technology companies.
Proven ownership of complex, end‑to‑end sales cycles, with a strong individual contributor foundation.
Comfortable operating in data‑driven environments with the ability to translate insight into decisive action and team behavior.
