About your job As a
Junior SAP Functional Consultant , you will play an important role in the successful implementation and optimisation of SAP solutions for our clients. You will support companies in setting up and using their SAP systems and help them to organise their business processes more efficiently and with a view to the future.
You will build up functional expertise step by step within one or more SAP domains (such as Finance, Logistics, Sales, Procurement or Service) and work closely with experienced consultants, project teams and clients.
Your tasks and responsibilities
Supporting SAP implementation and optimisation projects, with a focus on functional processes and configuration.
Helping to analyse and translate business requirements into functional SAP solutions in line with best practices.
Configuring SAP solutions (e.g. SAP S/4HANA Cloud ERP) under the guidance of experienced consultants.
Documenting processes, configurations and solutions (including functional documentation and work instructions).
Supporting workshops and work sessions with business stakeholders to identify processes and needs.
Participating in testing (unit tests, integration tests, user acceptance tests) and resolving findings.
Supporting end users during training, go-live and aftercare.
Participating in technological initiatives related to AI.
Collaborating with technical consultants, project managers and other SAP experts within the project team.
Taking on responsibility within projects step by step as your experience and knowledge grow.

Initial experience or strong interest in SAP and business processes (e.g. through study, internship or initial work experience).
Affinity with one or more business domains such as Finance, Supply Chain, Sales, Procurement or Service.
Analytical, structured and solution-oriented.
Good communication skills and comfortable interacting with customers and colleagues.
Eager to learn, proactive and motivated to develop further within SAP consulting.
You feel at home in a dynamic project environment and enjoy working in a team.
You speak and write fluent Dutch and English (knowledge of French is a plus).
Your Amista ‘basecamp’ in Belgium and the Netherlands Amista has several branches throughout Belgium and the Netherlands. You can find us in Mechelen, Destelbergen and Kortrijk, as well as in Dordrecht, Utrecht and Venray. Although you can also work from home on a regular basis, your main place of work will be our office in Mechelen or Destelbergen.
