We are seeking a highly skilled
BIM & Digital Estates Manager
to lead the strategic development and implementation of Building Information Modelling (BIM) and digital estate management across the Trust.
What we're looking for:
Degree in construction or equivalent experience.
Expertise in BIM, CAD, and digital estate management within UK construction/healthcare sectors.
Strong knowledge of ISO 19650, Building Safety Act, and compliance frameworks.
Proficiency in BIM software (Revit, AutoCAD) and CMMS/CAFM systems.
Excellent leadership, stakeholder engagement, and project management skills.
Main duties of the job Your day to day will include:
Develop and implement Trust-wide BIM and digital estate policies aligned with ISO 19650 and UK BIM Framework.
Lead integration of BIM into estate strategy, capital programmes, and sustainability initiatives.
Manage budgets, procurement, and governance for digital estate technologies.
Oversee BIM requirements in capital projects and ensure seamless handover of digital data.
Act as BIM Champion, delivering training and driving adoption across teams.

Qualifications
Construction related degree or equivalent experience
Qualification in BIM/CAD software packages (e.g., Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD)
PRINCE2, APM, or formal project management certification
Membership of a relevant professional body (CIBSE, CIOB, ICE, RICS, etc.)
Skills
Strong leadership, stakeholder engagement, and negotiation skills
Ability to develop and implement digital Estates policies, governance frameworks, and compliance standards
Excellent project management and financial planning abilities, with experience in budgeting and procurement
Highly proficient in BIM software (Revit, AutoCAD), CMMS/CAFM systems, and collaborative platforms (e.g., BIM 360, 4Projects)
Strong ability to interpret and communicate complex Estates information, including surveys, compliance data, and construction drawings
Demonstrated ability to train and mentor teams in BIM and digital estate management
Excellent proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, SharePoint, PowerPoint) and remote collaboration tools (Teams) (D)
Experience
In-depth knowledge of BIM, CAD, and digital estate management within the UK construction and healthcare sectors
Strong knowledge of ISO 19650, UK BIM Framework, and Building Safety Act
Experience in leading BIM implementation and estate information governance
Experience managing CMMS/CAFM compliance databases and digital asset records
Experience in developing BIM standards, governance frameworks, and quality assurance processes
Knowledge of statutory compliance, British Standards, and regulatory frameworks related to Estates and construction
Knowledge of NHS Estates management, HTM/HBN guidance, and ERIC/PAM data reporting
