Supports organizational decision-making by leveraging data, member insights, and market research to ensure strategic alignment across the organization. The role focuses on growth opportunities and assists in developing new initiatives to advance the credit union’s mission and long-term goals.
Responsibilities
Assist Chief Strategy Officer in formulating and executing strategic plan items including product and services development and membership growth initiatives.
Assist Chief Strategy Officer in evaluating new business opportunities, vendor partnerships, and innovation initiatives.
Facilitate discussions to identify operational challenges and propose strategic solutions.
Devise and propose process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and member experience across the credit union.
Evaluate existing products, services, and member experience to identify trends, threats and opportunities for strategic improvements.
Work with various departments to ensure a seamless member experience regardless of digital or in-branch touchpoint.
Stay up to date on emerging credit union trends and competitor offerings.
Work with project management team to ensure seamless member experience for all projects.
Assists with special projects as assigned.
Adheres to all Red River Employees Federal Credit Union policies and procedures.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
High school diploma or the equivalent.
Three to five years of experience in a financial institution; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
High level of interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to communicate policies, procedures, and strategic objectives effectively throughout RRCU.
Competent computer skills and use of standard office equipment.
Ability to meet, speak, and deal effectively with all levels in the organization, being professional always.
Must maintain a neat and professional appearance.
Must project the image of RRCU through a very good attitude, knowledge, and leadership skills.
