Position Overview The Salesforce Product Owner will be primarily responsible for managing the lifecycle of a portfolio of capabilities led by our Salesforce Product Manager. This role works closely with key stakeholders and product managers to understand the organizational goals and priorities driving roadmaps. We are looking for a forward thinker able to see the bigger picture of the integrated system (Marketing Cloud, CRM, Experience Cloud, Non-Profit Cloud and Data Integration). In this role you’ll tackle the challenge of juggling multiple solution capabilities and mastering the technical complexities of Rotary’s products. Your work will have a profound impact, driving participant-focused solutions, leading market innovations, and enhancing product quality.
The Salesforce Product Owner reports to a Product Manager aligned to a portfolio of solution capabilities.
You Will Have
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, Management Information System or equivalent experience required.
Proficiency in Salesforce platform, including Marketing Cloud and Experience Cloud.
Knowledge of Agile Values, Principles, and mindset with at least 3-5 years’ experience acting in a Salesforce Business Analyst role, or a similar role.
Salesforce certifications (e.g., Sales Cloud, Nonprofit Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Experience Cloud) preferred.
Experience with Salesforce integrations and third‑party applications.
Strong technical acumen and system thinking.
Proficiency using Confluence, SharePoint, and JIRA.
A consumer‑centric focus with experience managing user experience components.
An ability to articulate and clearly communicate and document complex problems and solutions simply and logically.
Demonstrated track record in effective requirement elicitation and analysis.
Excellent critical thinking and communication skills.
Self‑motivation is crucial.
Familiarity with Salesforce Einstein Analytics.
Certified in Scaled Agile - SAFe® Product Owner (PO/PM) a plus.

You Will Be Responsible For
Owning the product backlog and priority of backlog items; ensure it is transparent, visible, and understood.
Creating and communicating backlog items (i.e., writing user stories).
Prioritizing and sequencing stories to maximize business value while maintaining a sustainable pace.
Strategic Planning & Roadmap
Managing the product roadmap of solution capabilities.
Closely collaborating with your Product Manager and/or Business Stakeholder to gain product understanding and prioritize backlog items efficiently.
Stakeholder Engagement & Feedback Integration
Processing and analyzing product feedback from stakeholders.
Conducting demos for all required stakeholders.
Running UAT.
Collaborating with IT back‑end teams and shared services to assist decision‑making and sequencing of critical technology enablers.
Ensuring ongoing collaboration with other product development teams to align work and proactively manage cross‑team dependencies.
Issue Management & Quality Assurance
Monitoring, triaging, and investigating production issues.
Technical Coordination & Requirements Analysis
Analyzing functional and non-functional product requirements, dependencies, and constraints and decomposing them into tasks for the development team.
Working with the Salesforce System Administrator to coordinate upgrades or data integration changes requiring Rotary support.
