Overview
St. Paul United Methodist Church (Little Rock) is seeking a full-time Director of Music Ministries to lead a vibrant and growing worship community. The ideal candidate is a gifted musician, an inspiring director, and a collaborative leader who is passionate about Christ-centered worship.
Responsibilities
- Directing choirs, handbells, and ensembles
- Providing accompaniment for weekly worship and seasonal services
- Planning music for all services and special events
- Coordinating rehearsals and recruiting musicians
- Collaborating closely with the Pastor and Worship Team
- Participating in Music Camp/VBS
- Maintaining and growing the music library
Qualifications
- Proficiency in piano and/or organ
- Experience directing choirs and ensembles
- Ability to work collaboratively in a church setting
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Familiarity with Methodist worship traditions (preferred)
