About the Company: Our client is a fast-paced management consulting firm supporting senior leadership teams and stakeholders on the financial, accounting, and operational implications of complex transactions. Their work spans mergers and acquisitions, IPO readiness, carve-outs and spin-offs, reverse mergers, debt restructurings, and broader process improvement and cost rationalisation initiatives. The Role: As an Advisory Director, you will lead client engagements focused on complex financial reporting and technical accounting matters. Working closely with client management, auditors, and advisors, you will help implement best practices, solve high-impact reporting challenges, and drive successful outcomes across transaction-driven and transformation engagements. This is a client-facing leadership role with responsibility for delivery, stakeholder management, and team development.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead engagements advising market-leading clients on M&A, divestitures, IPO readiness, interim management support, and technical accounting matters.
Review financial statements and related SEC filings to ensure accuracy, compliance, and quality.
Develop financial models, forecasts, and supporting analyses for decision‑making and reporting.
Oversee the design and implementation of business process improvement initiatives.
Serve as a key liaison between client senior management and external auditors/advisors.
Manage and grow existing client relationships; identify and pursue new opportunities.
Lead and mentor consulting teams in the field, providing feedback and guidance to ensure timely, high‑quality delivery.
Support firm‑wide strategic initiatives, including recruiting and growth priorities.
Act as a subject matter expert in selected technical areas (e.g., business combinations, revenue recognition, stock‑based compensation).
About You:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; CPA or MBA preferred.
8+ years’ experience in public accounting, audit, and/or accounting advisory.
Strong technical expertise in US GAAP and SEC reporting requirements.
Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills; confident with senior stakeholders.
Proven project leadership skills and the ability to manage multiple concurrent engagements.
Commercial mindset with an entrepreneurial approach to client service and growth.
Willingness to travel, including occasional overnight travel.
Team‑oriented leader who enjoys developing others and contributing to a high‑performance culture.
