We are hiring a leasing consultant at our property management company located in Lakewood, Ohio. We currently manage 19 properties in Lakewood, Cleveland, Fairview Park and North Olmsted. Applicant must be detail oriented and have exceptional time management skills. Leasing experience of at least 2 years.
Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in the Greater Cleveland area for a Leasing Consultant. The individual will be responsible for interacting with potential residents to showcase properties, assisting with lease agreements and lease administration processes, responding promptly to inquiries, and supporting resident retention initiatives. In addition, the role involves delivering exceptional customer service to maintain positive relationships with current and prospective residents. Key responsibilities
Process rental applications, screen tenants, and conduct background checks. Prepare and execute lease agreements, collect deposits, and maintain accurate resident files. Coordinate with maintenance staff to ensure unit to ready. Marketing and sales: Promote properties through various marketing channels and conduct market surveys to stay informed about rental rates in the area. Qualifications
Experience with Leasing and Lease Administration processes Skills in Resident Retention and Customer Service Strong Communication abilities, including verbal and written communication skills Ability to work professionally in an on-site environment Previous experience in property management or leasing is a plus Proficiency with property management software or tools is preferred Position is salaried with commission.
