Willey Home Furnishings is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented **Photo Studio Assistant Photographer** to support our photography operations and warehouse workflow. This role plays a key part in preparing, staging, photographing, and managing products for high-quality visual content while ensuring efficient inventory handling. **The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a warehouse environment and has strong product photography skills, particularly in creating consistent, high-quality silo images.**Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM**Key Responsibilities*** Collaborate with Store Display, Warehouse, Executives, and Photography teams to prepare products for studio and lifestyle shoots.* Unload, unpack, inspect, stage, and repackage merchandise for photography.* Manage inventory flow between warehouse and studio spaces.* Inspect incoming products for damage or defects and report issues as needed.* Stage and prepare products to ensure they are presented in the best possible light.* Capture high-quality silo-style product images (clean, consistent images on white or neutral backgrounds) that meet brand and quality standards.* Set up and operate photography equipment, including cameras, lighting, backdrops, and turntables when needed.* Adjust lighting, composition, and camera settings to ensure accurate color, texture, and detail.* Perform basic photo editing, clipping paths, and color correction using approved software.* Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient studio and warehouse workspace.* Help maintain and organize photography equipment and studio supplies.* Work efficiently to meet production deadlines and maximize product turnaround.* Manage multiple tasks simultaneously, including prepping, staging, photographing, and repackaging high volumes of products.* Perform additional duties as assigned.**Skills and Qualifications*** Comfortable working in a warehouse environment and lifting 50–100lbs regularly.* High school diploma or equivalent required.* 1+ year of experience in product photography, warehouse operations, e-commerce, retail, or related fields preferred.* Demonstrated experience creating silo/white-background product images; portfolio or work samples preferred.* Proficiency with DSLR/mirrorless cameras, studio lighting, and tethered shooting workflows.* Working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, or similar editing software.* Strong organizational, multitasking, and time-management skills.* Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.* Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.* Dependable, self-motivated, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.* Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to adapt to changing priorities.Working with us is more than just a paycheck– it’s about being part of an organization that values connection and community.
