Job Overview
Adams & Martin Group is working with a prestigious law firm seeking an experienced Billing Specialist to manage insurance and e‑billing processes. This role is responsible for preparing, reviewing, and submitting invoices while ensuring compliance with client and insurance billing guidelines. The ideal candidate is detail‑oriented, technically proficient, and comfortable collaborating with attorneys and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and execute insurance billing and e‑billing processes within a law firm setting
Process and manipulate multiple LEDES files accurately and efficiently
Prepare, review, and submit invoices using Aderant, Pre‑Bill Viewer (or similar software), and Microsoft Excel
Collaborate with attorneys and internal teams to resolve billing issues and ensure accuracy
Interpret and apply billing guidelines related to insurance versus client responsibility
Monitor outstanding insurance claims and follow up on payments to support timely revenue collection
Qualifications
Proficiency with Aderant billing software
Experience with insurance billing and e‑billing in a law firm environment
Strong Microsoft Excel skills
Familiarity with Pre‑Bill Viewer or comparable billing review tools
Ability to manage multiple priorities with strong attention to detail
Preferred Skills
Experience with additional legal billing platforms
Strong communication, organizational, and problem‑solving skills
Prior experience working cross‑functionally with finance, legal operations, or attorneys
