Monitor the execution of the Yazaki Europe Operating System (RASIC, Process Flow, OSA) related to RM and FG packaging management
Create guidelines, working procedures, and forms for RM and FG packaging areas
Define Performance and Proactive KPIs related to packaging management
Provide assistance to category buyers on the integration and validation of Supplier Logistics Manual requirements during the RFQ phase
Support Engineering in packing solution validation against logistics requirements
Support RM suppliers in understanding Yazaki Logistics requirements
Assist CSC Logistics in packaging design and validation processes, ensuring compliance with Yazaki Logistics standards
Support the release of packing and packaging specifications
Provide support to CSC in the submission and negotiation of quotations with packaging suppliers
Execute the RFQ process together with Purchasing, ensuring the implementation of awarded suppliers with CSC and plants
Analyze RM and FG packaging costs and propose optimization and rationalization opportunities
Provide assistance to Plant Logistics and SQA teams in validating FAR (Functional Approval Report) logistics requirements for new parts
Act as a consultant for Plant Logistics and CSC teams in the RM and FG Packaging field
Maintain the RM and FG Packaging database at YEMEA level
Support Plants, Kotozukuri Hubs Managers, and CSC Managers in achieving department KPIs
Lead workshops and initiate continuous improvement projects
Identify improvement opportunities, support implementation, and follow up on results
Ensure reporting of all packaging improvement projects in the ECIP application
What Will You Bring With You?
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Logistics, Business Administration or related fields
Minimum 2 years of experience in logistics processes and packaging management
Strong knowledge of supply chain management and cost analysis
Experience in using MS Office Programs
Proficient in English (written and spoken)
Experience in performance management and continuous improvement methodologies
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
