Position
We are seeking a full‑time and PRN Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS) for a licensed psychiatric hospital specializing in behavioral health services for children, adolescents, and adults.
Responsibilities
Provide Recreational Therapy services, including assessment, treatment planning, therapeutic interventions, and discharge leisure planning.
Establish treatment goals, evaluate patient progress, document outcomes, and participate in treatment team conferences.
Act as a clinical instructor for students (full‑time role).
Qualifications
CTRS certified by the NCTRC.
Bachelor’s degree in Therapeutic Recreation.
Psychiatric experience preferred.
