Sony Pictures Television is looking for a Coordinator to join our Insights, Strategy & Analytics Team. As part of the SPT Insights, Strategy, & Analytics team, the Coordinator will work in a consultative manner with senior executives and cross-functional teams to deliver insights that inspire creative development, content strategy, and marketing. This Coordinator will help elevate the voice of the consumer and facilitate the team producing strategic content insights that inform Sony Pictures Television’s success. Using secondary & syndicated data, primary research, ratings & consumption data and social listening, the Coordinator will support key SPT series throughout their lifecycles and work with team members across a variety of projects including concept and pilot testing, performance analyses, community and panel management, and ad hoc projects. The role will also serve as main administrative & scheduling support for the VP, Insights, Strategy & Analytics.
Responsibilities
Produce regular performance reporting and create additional custom analyses as necessary for SPT across drama, comedy & animation scripted series
Assist in preparation, fieldwork, and execution of quantitative and qualitative research studies, including reviewing surveys, testing links, reviewing data/tabs, cleaning and coding open ends, formatting slides/reports, and generally maintaining timelines & deliverables
Support on ad hoc requests by analyzing primary, performance, social & syndicated sources
Ensure quality and timeliness of projects and deliverables by coordinating with internal teams and external research vendors
Create impactful deliverables using data visualization and an ability to edit/distill findings
Maintain and distribute schedules, documentation and other reports relevant to team’s work
Provide organizational and administrative support to the VP, including coordinating schedule/calendar/phone, submitting expense reports, coordinating travel and logistics
Schedule meetings on behalf of the broader research team
Maintain a familiarity with entertainment landscape/industry trends
Qualifications
1-2 Years relevant work experience supporting media and entertainment research teams
Passion for all forms of television and content, and a foundational knowledge of TV landscape
Exceptional organization, time management, and project management skills
Dedication to delivering the highest quality work, unflagging attention to detail
Strong computer skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); Keynote and SPSS experience a plus
Familiarity with relevant tools a plus (Nielsen, social tools like Talkwalker or Tubular, industry sources like Luminate or Ampere, administrative tools like Concur or Airtable)
Advanced writing skills and ability to synthesize information and tell stories with data
Skilled at data visualization and creating impactful presentations and deliverables
Flexible, collaborative personality, quick learner, and strong, proactive work ethic
Confident presence – strong communication skills (verbal, written, listening)
Self-starter with passion, energy, and enthusiasm, displaying discretion and integrity
Respectful, friendly and approachable with a positive outlook and attitude
At ease in fast-paced, high energy, ever-changing work environment

Bachelor’s degree required, degree preferably in the fields of Marketing, Communications, Economics, Psychology, Social Sciences or related fields
The anticipated base salary for this position is $31/hour to $38/hour. This role may also qualify for incentives and/or comprehensive benefits. The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including without limitation, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location of the position.
