Brief Description
The Jr. Estimator is responsible for assisting the company in winning bids. They are charged with the responsibility of reviewing data and documents like analysis reports, purchase orders and subcontracts with the estimating team. The focus of the Jr. Estimator is on producing high quality, detailed work based on established standards, guidelines and procedures.
Essential Job Functions
Assist in preparing conventional proposals.
Assist in preparing negotiated estimates.
Assist in receiving and evaluating bids prior to and on bid day
Solicit participation from subcontractors
Posts addenda and other bid information to subcontractors
Review bid requirements
Set-up and maintain Building Connected
Thorough understanding of assigned scopes (specs and drawings)
Develops RFI’s for CSP’s and clarification for CM@R
Develop new subcontractor relationships
Performs other duties as assigned

B.A. or B.S.in Engineering, Construction Management or Architecture, or equivalent experience.
1 year experience in Estimating with a Commercial General Contractor.
