about this team

The Junior Graphic Designer role sits within the Concept Design Org of our Collegiate team. Our goal is to elevate the Lululemon product with a focus on the art and design of apparel licensed graphics and trims to create a compelling consumer experience at retail. This team will drive graphic excellence through the connection of apparel graphic design, development and manufacturing

core responsibilities

Graphic Knowledge. Well informed in current graphic trends, art, fashion, typography, design, and sport and collegiate related products through market research to keep ahead of consumer needs.

Research and participate in creating seasonal mood boards pertaining to apparel graphic design, type design and bringing to life trims and embellishments.

Create tech packs with detailed specifications that include size of graphic, special treatments, print techniques, color swatches, and art placement.

Knowledge in Graphic Design, Typography, Placement Graphics, Illustrative Graphics. An understanding of licensed graphic assets is a plus, but not a must have.

Develop bold new, emerging designs, and enhance existing concepts that aligns with the intersection of lululemon’s design ethos and the collegiate spirit that this team brings to life.

Adhere to timelines and meet all deadlines while producing accurate and high-quality work. Have an ability to organize and work through a large volume of seasonal work.

qualifications

2+ years industry experience

MA,BA, BFA, or BS in Design

Excel in designing seasonal apparel graphics with a great sense of typography, scale and graphic illustration.

Skill in Adobe CC: Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.

Knowledge of 3D programs is a plus (i.e.; V-Stitcher, CLO3D)

lululemon’s compensation offerings are grounded in a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and teamperformance. Thetypical hiring range for this positionis from

$63,900-$83,900 USD

annually

; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity.
