Overview This position sits within our Content division which identifies and publishes accurate and relevant project data for our software solutions.

The Opportunity The Document Processing Specialist will perform audits of the Content, Formatting, and Reprography groups to ensure the efficiency of all processes. Additionally, the individual in this role will verify the quality of reporting and recommend improvements to ensure that greater quality is met, and train team members on the implementation of new processes.

Responsibilities What You’ll Be Doing

Quality Control: Perform quality control (QC) checks on project documents processed through ConstructConnect Auxiliary Resources to ensure adherence to operating standards.

Process Audits: Conduct internal audits and studies of current document processing methods to identify areas for improved efficiency and quality.

Training & Implementation: Train internal and external team members on new document processing techniques and ensure smooth implementation.

Performance Improvement: Recommend enhancements to reporting and document processing workflows to elevate overall quality and efficiency.

Standards Compliance: Ensure all documentation meets ConstructConnect’s time, quality, and compliance standards.

Process Documentation: Develop clear, comprehensive documentation for new processes, or update existing guidelines to reflect process improvements.

Content Development: Create and maintain educational materials that inform and train team members on evolving procedures and best practices.

Quality Assurance: Collaborate with stakeholders to review and refine documentation, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and accessibility.

Continuous Improvement: Identify gaps or outdated procedures in current documentation and propose enhancements to support organizational efficiency.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with various teams to gather input, validate process changes, and ensure the documentation accurately reflects operational practices.

Qualifications What You Bring to the Team

Two years of customer service experience in a corporate environment or 6-18 months experience as a Content Specialist or 6-18 months experience in a Quality Assurance role.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Power Point, and Microsoft Word

Strong Math and Analytical Skills

Ability to multi-task and be organized, as role will require work on multiple projects across multiple markets, encountering many nuances

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Close attention to detail

Ability to effectively adapt to new processes

Ability to work independently as well as with a team

Creative thinking regarding process improvements

Ability to effectively train team members on new processes

Willingness to continually embrace professional development

Attends and participates in meetings as required

Performs miscellaneous tasks and special projects as assigned

Physical Demands and Work Environment

The physical activities of this position include frequent sitting, telephone communication, and working on a computer for extended periods. Visual acuity is required to perform activities close to the eyes.

Team members are expected to maintain a dedicated and ergonomically appropriate remote workspace.

Team members who live within commuting distance of one of our office locations (Greater Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky or Atlanta, Georgia) are expected to work in a hybrid capacity, with regular in-office presence as determined by the team or department.

All team members must reside and perform their work within the United States.
