Project Overview We are a global e-commerce fulfillment and logistics company expanding into the U.S. market and exhibiting at
eTail Palm Springs . We are seeking an experienced, personable professional to support business development and lead qualification for this specific trade show project.
This role includes
pre-event preparation
(remote) and
on-site support
during the conference. The ideal candidate is comfortable engaging DTC and e-commerce operators, understands logistics at a high level, and can help initiate and qualify conversations before handing off leads to our internal team.
Project Scope & Time Commitment Total commitment:
~15-20 hours
Pre-Event (Remote | 1 week before event)
1–2 Zoom calls (1–2 hours total)
Review company overview, positioning, and target customer profiles
Align on booth messaging, qualifying questions, and handoff process
On-Site (Palm Springs)
2 days at the trade show
Engage attendees and initiate booth conversations
Communicate a high-level overview of our logistics and fulfillment services
Identify potential leads based on fit and intent
Introduce potential partnership opportunities to internal team members
Support booth flow during peak traffic periods
Qualifications
5+ years of experience
in logistics, supply chain, e-commerce, or B2B services
Hands-on experience working with DTC or digital-first brands
Prior experience at trade shows, conferences, or live sales environments
Comfortable speaking with founders, operators, and senior stakeholders
Strong communication skills and a professional, approachable presence
Professional, energetic, and reliable in a live event setting
Nice to Have
Experience with e-commerce fulfillment, 3PLs, or cross-border logistics
Background in sales, partnerships, or consulting
Previous attendance at eTail or similar industry events
Compensation
$800 total , inclusive of pre-event preparation and on-site support
