ABOUT C+C
When was the last time you thought you could make the world a better place? Imagine following through with your dreams and making that positive change happen. C+C is an award‑winning integrated marketing agency all about changing behaviors for good. We help our clients motivate people to embrace a variety of social and environmental actions, from choosing an energy‑efficient appliance to applying for college programs, getting the COVID‑19 vaccine, making good financial decisions, taking public transit, and saving water. We’ve been working on social issues and sustainability projects since 2005.
We have beautiful offices in Seattle, WA; Portland, OR; and Boston, MA to accommodate employees in a hybrid or full‑office setting. Our current requirement is for local roles to work two days onsite from the C+C offices. Remote roles will be noted accordingly.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR C+C is looking for enthusiastic, friendly, and reliable Brand Ambassadors who are driven by social good causes, love connecting with people, and bring positive energy to community spaces. As a Brand Ambassador—or Social Good Ambassador (SGA)—you will help bring educational, interactive booths to life at festivals, fairs, and neighborhood events across the Puget Sound region, including King, Island, Pierce, Kitsap, Snohomish, Thurston, and Whatcom counties.
At each event you will engage with community members, spark meaningful conversations, and help educate the public on programs and actions that support stronger communities and a better planet. If you enjoy talking to new people, learning about impactful initiatives, and being part of something that truly makes a difference, this role is for you.
This is a part‑time, event‑based role with flexible scheduling. Events can happen any day of the week, with many taking place on weekends. By applying you are not committing to a guaranteed number of hours—instead, you will be interviewed and added to our pool of Brand Ambassadors who are notified when upcoming event opportunities become available. You can accept shifts that work for your schedule and availability.
REQUIREMENTS
Confidence to engage and talk with new people while staying focused on campaign goals
Commitment to maintaining a high level of professionalism and open communication with the rest of the team
Attention to detail when selecting event materials and writing event recap reports
Proactive when it comes to reviewing event schedule and shifts using email or another tool (Asana, for example)
Ability to multi‑task, problem‑solve, and think on your feet
Flexible schedule, and the availability to work weekend events throughout the Puget Sound Region
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. and set up tents, community tables, and varied outreach equipment (event materials)
Bilingual and multilingual capabilities are highly desired (especially Vietnamese, Mandarin Chinese, and Spanish), but not required!
Be willing and able to work at least two events per month
Must be at least 18 years of age
APPLICANTS MUST HAVE
A valid driver's license
Reliable transportation; access to a vehicle; willingness to travel within an approximate distance of up to 60 miles from Seattle based on specific event locations
A smartphone
COMPENSATION Fixed rate for event‑to‑event staff at $24 per hour. Ambassadors will be responsible for picking the days, times, and locations they can work through an online/mobile scheduling database. All training and travel expenses (mileage reimbursement) are covered.
