Salary/Pay Rate: $24.87-$33.86 per hour (starting salary range based on qualifications $24.87-$30.86) Posted Date: 02/02/2026 2:00 PM Deadline to Apply: 02/27/2026 5:00 PM Village of Elk Grove Village Job Posting Multimedia Content Producer Elk Grove Village, Illinois, (pop. 33,127), a strategically located, progressive community that is home to the largest consolidated business park in North America, is seeking a dynamic and creative individual for the position of Multimedia Content Producer in the Village Manager’s Office. Elk Grove Village is located in Cook and DuPage Counties adjacent to O’Hare International Airport and is home to approximately 5,600 businesses, located in its 5.4 square mile Business Park. The Multimedia Content Producer is responsible for the day‑to‑day operation and maintenance of the Village’s television programming production through Elk Grove Television (EGTV), the Village’s government access channel. EGTV provides residents with timely, informative, and engaging coverage of government information, news, and events. This role supports EGTV operations and serves as a content partner to Village Departments by producing short‑ and long‑form video content that advances organizational communication goals across broadcast, web, and social channels. Key Responsibilities

Participate in all EGTV functions, including the operation and maintenance of production equipment, archiving video assets, managing and scheduling programming, as well as scripting, filming, editing, and all other aspects of production: Act as crew for studio and remote productions and support live production operations, including assisting with video switching, audio coordination, and equipment set‑up and tear‑down. Operate audio and video equipment such as, but not limited to, television cameras, switchers, microphones, audio mixers, recorders/players, edit controllers, character generators and lighting instruments. Utilize video playback software for the scheduling of EGTV programming, as well as update the community program guide. Coordinate the archiving of video assets for short‑term and long‑term storage and access. Minimum Qualifications

A Bachelor’s Degree in Communications with an emphasis on Film/TV production or related field is required. A minimum of two (2) years of film/TV production experience, local government preferred, or an equivalent amount of education, experience, and training is required. Required to possess and maintain a valid State of Illinois Driver’s License with a safe driving record. Opening Date:
