Job Details We are seeking a highly motivated, experienced, and passionate Roofing Sales Project Manager to join our dynamic team in the construction industry. This is a permanent position that offers a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in our company's growth. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth, managing territory, and building relationships with clients. This role requires a minimum of 10 years of sales experience with a strong background in territory sales, cold calling, prospecting, territory management, and B2B sales.
Responsibilities
Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve company targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives in assigned accounts.
Manage and grow the sales territory through cold calling, prospecting, and relationship building.
Prepare and deliver professional sales presentations, proposals, and negotiate contracts.
Coordinate with the project management team to ensure customer satisfaction and problem resolution.
Conduct market research to understand competition and market trends, and use this knowledge to develop sales strategies.
Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional activities and materials.
Provide regular sales forecasts, reports, and updates to the senior management.
Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, and participating in professional societies.
Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years of sales experience, preferably in the construction industry.
Proven track record of successful sales experience in territory sales, cold calling, prospecting, territory management, and B2B sales.
Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field is preferred.
Able to travel as needed within the assigned territory.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Must be a self-starter, highly organized, and able to work well with individuals at all levels.
