Role Description This is a part-time, remote/hybrid role for a Community Partnerships & Growth Manager with Mesa City Lifestyle.

Candidates must be located in the East Valley of Arizona (Mesa, Gilbert, Gold Canyon, Queen Creek) and comfortable meeting with local businesses in person as part of the role.

The Community Partnerships Manager is responsible for building and nurturing relationships with local business owners, driving recurring advertising partnerships, and supporting the continued growth of Mesa City Lifestyle. This role is highly relationship-driven and sales-focused, with autonomy to prospect, connect, and close partnerships that align with the brand’s mission and community presence.

The position involves identifying new partnership opportunities, managing follow-up and communication, and representing the magazine with professionalism and authenticity. Success in this role is measured by relationship quality, consistency of outreach, and closed recurring agreements.

Qualifications

Strong communication and sales skills with a relationship-first approach

At least six months of sales, prospecting, or business development experience (including coursework, competitions, or prospecting-heavy roles)

Comfortable with outbound outreach, including in-person business visits, cold calls, and email follow-ups

Self-motivated and able to manage time independently in a flexible, remote environment

Comfortable working in a commission-based role with performance-driven compensation and no cap on earnings

Organized, consistent, and strong with follow-through

Enjoys being out in the community and building local business relationships

Must be located in the East Valley of Arizona (Mesa, Gilbert, Gold Canyon, Queen Creek)

Preferred but not required

Experience in advertising, media, partnerships, or relationship-based sales

Familiarity with the East Valley business community

Experience balancing part-time or flexible work schedules
