About the Role We’re seeking a talented Graphic Designer to join a dynamic creative agency on a temp-to-perm basis, with conversion typically around the 90‑day mark. You’ll support a variety of client‑facing projects, often handling 1–2 engagements at a time with timelines of 1–2 months. Projects may include branding, core visual systems, storyboards, presentations, and production design.

You’ll work closely with Art Directors, Senior Designers, Producers, and management, with opportunities to broaden your skillset into animation, emerging tools, and production design.

Graphic Designer (Temp-to-Perm) – Creative Agency | Lower Manhattan, NYC Hybrid 3 days/week onsite (any 3 days; encouraged to align with your project team), remote 2.

Rate $30–$35/hr Then converting between $67K–$78K

Schedule 40 hours/week

Execute production design across print, digital, presentation, and spatial mediums

Translate creative briefs into strong visual concepts

Create photography treatments, illustrations, and motion graphics

Assist Art Directors and Senior Designers in maintaining visual consistency

Build presentation templates and decks

Manage and archive files in Dropbox

Occasionally act in a client‑facing role (office or onsite)

Mentor Associate Designers and Interns

Travel domestically and internationally as needed (up to 1 week)

Adobe Illustrator & Photoshop

Adobe InDesign

Microsoft PowerPoint (Mac & PC)

After Effects / light animation

Premiere Pro

Cinema 4D

Figma

MidJourney / Firefly / AI tools

Sketch / Google SketchUp / V-Ray

Must-Haves

2–5+ years of agency experience

Strong graphic design portfolio

Expertise in typography, layout, and visual hierarchy

Attention to detail and ability to work efficiently under deadlines

Strong communication and collaboration skills

Experience with print, digital, presentation, and spatial design

Exposure to AI tools is a plus

Bachelor’s degree preferred (Design, Advertising, Fine Arts)
