Company Description WSFX-TV is the Fox affiliate in Wilmington, NC DMA. We are a part of American Spirit Media, a Charlotte, NC based company which owns six television station in the US. The station is a dominant station in the market, featuring three daily local newscasts and excellent programming. The station also carries the best in sports, including the NFL (Carolina Panthers), NCAA Football, Major League Baseball, and World Cup Soccer, Nascar, College Football, College Basketball to name a few!
Role Description This is a full-time on-site role located in Wilmington, NC, for a Media Account Executive. The Media Account Executive will be responsible for developing and managing client relationships, creating and presenting proposals, and implementing effective sales strategies to achieve goals. The role includes working closely with clients to understand their needs and developing tailored marketing solutions utilizing traditional and digital media platforms. Additional responsibilities include achieving and exceeding revenue targets, tracking campaign performance, and keeping up on market trends.
You will be responsible for selling advertising on WSFX FOX Wilmington, foxwilmington.com, FOX Sports APP & digital platforms such as programmatic display, geotargeting, YouTube, OTT, SEO, SEM, & Facebook/Instagram.
Qualifications
Strong Communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships
Proficiency in Account Management and Sales, with experience in meeting or exceeding revenue goals
Knowledge of Digital Media platforms and strategies
Understanding of Social Media trends and tools as they relate to advertising and marketing
Ability to work collaboratively in team settings while also being self-driven
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Sales or related field preferred
Previous experience in media sales or advertising is a significant plus
