Job Summary Develop and successfully execute a branch sales growth strategy to grow sales profitably year over year. The Regional Sales Manager has full sales, margin and sales‑expense responsibility for the assigned sales region, and oversees and develops Territory Managers and Account Managers.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities
Sales growth and growth of industrial product sales: develop and implement branch sales growth plans to achieve agreed sales growth rates and increase the mix of industrial & commercial filtration products.
Total sales, margin and sales expense responsibility: work with finance and the National Sales Manager to prepare annual sales and expense budgets, submit monthly sales forecasts, and report variance to budget.
Sales management responsibilities: prepare annual performance reviews, hire and train all sales personnel, set sales targets, conduct product training, review and approve customer bids over $1,000, improve low‑margin product and service sales, implement price increases, assign and monitor accounts, and ensure use of business systems and tools.
General: ensure understanding of and compliance with company policies and procedures, and work closely with corporate functional departments to support and monitor corporate initiatives.

Educational and Experience Requirements
Minimum of five years of outside sales experience.
Minimum of three years of supervisory or managerial experience.
Four‑year college degree preferred.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Industrial or B2B sales experience preferred.
Filtration knowledge preferred.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license in good standing.
Physical Demands Required to stand, walk, sit, use hands for handling objects, reach, climb stairs, utilize ladders (250 lb capacity), balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, and talk and hear. Occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Vision requirements include close, distance, peripheral and depth perception.
Work Locations Office and various customer locations.
Travel Requirements Significant travel will be required as determined by territory and branch needs.
