Our client, a Japanese Energy company, is seeking an experienced power business leader to drive profitability and ROIC across a diverse energy portfolio (Solar, Battery, CCGT). The role focuses on commercial strategy, contract management, asset performance, and market positioning, while leading a high-performing team and supporting executive decision-making.

Houston, TX Salary:
up to 200k depending on experience (including bonus) Responsibilities
Manage performance, financials, and contracts for power assets. Lead operational and O&M improvements to maximize profitability. Negotiate and execute commercial agreements (PPA, Tolling, etc.). Drive revenue through market strategies (ERCOT, PJM, Mexico). Oversee safety, risk management, and compliance. Support asset sales, refinancing, and portfolio restructuring. Monitor KPIs, forecasts, and budgets; report to executives. Lead and develop team performance. Qualifications
5-10 years in power generation (IPP, utility, or similar). Expertise in U.S. power markets and commercial contracts. Strong financial modeling and revenue management skills.
