Position Overview We are looking for an Associate Multimedia Producer to join our team. The Associate Multimedia Producer collaborates closely with the Senior Social Media Manager as well as the broader communications team to produce engaging, high-quality video and photography content. This role involves creating visually appealing, multimedia content designed to tell our clients’ stories, increase brand awareness and drive online engagement.
Job Responsibilities
Strategize, plan and execute end-to-end multimedia projects focused on video and photography to achieve compelling content while incorporating client branding, tone and messaging.
Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to generate multimedia content ideas aligned with integrated communications plans.
Lead pre‑production, filming, production assistance and post‑production editing.
Collaborate on scripting, planning and content capture, including determining appropriate equipment to use on each shoot.
Maintain, calibrate, clean and conduct minor repairs on equipment.
Edit videos, including adding closed captioning, graphics and on‑screen text.
Integrate computer graphics and special effects to enhance videos.
Organize and archive footage systematically for post‑production.
Select music, sound effects and visual enhancements for video content.
Convert outsourced video content for various marketing channels.
Create visual assets including graphics, short‑form videos, photos and animations.
Stay updated on industry trends, tools and best practices for content effectiveness.
Capture photography inclusive of headshots, events and cityscapes.
Post‑production editing and delivery of high‑quality, client‑ready assets.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or associate degree in a relevant field such as Communications, Journalism, Film Production, Media Production or Digital Filmmaking.
2–3 years of experience capturing photo and video content using professional cameras, lighting, and audio equipment.
Proficiency in content creation tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, Canva and video editing software.
Familiarity with social media platforms including Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn and Facebook.
Ability to manage multiple projects, meet fast‑paced deadlines and work collaboratively.
Creative mindset with a passion for storytelling and digital engagement.
Impeccable attention to detail with dedication to consistently delivering quality work.
Professional demeanor and presentation skills, both with team and with clients.
Pride in organization, with attention to timeline and budgets.
A passion for placemaking and understanding of the power of the built environment.
The ability to learn from and share with others.
Strong initiative and motivation to constantly experiment and improve upon each project.
Self‑motivator who can generate ideas for projects independently and collaboratively, and communicate those ideas effectively to the team while working under tight deadlines.
