We’re looking for a
New Business & Marketing Manager
who is equal parts strategist, organizer, and instigator. This role sits at the center of how RP3 grows—connecting outreach, relationships, content, and opportunity into a disciplined, modern growth engine. You’ll own the systems, rhythms, and storytelling that power our new business and marketing efforts—bringing sales and marketing together into one connected growth system and helping shape how RP3 shows up in the market.
This is a highly visible role with meaningful exposure to agency leadership.
What You Will Do New Business & Growth Strategy
Own and execute RP3’s new business plan in partnership with agency leadership, aligned to priority verticals and regional focus
Own the full new business pipeline—from proactive outreach through pitch, proposal, and close—ensuring momentum, accountability, and follow-through at every stage
Lead and support go/no-go decisions, pitch strategy, pricing coordination, and proposal development
Source and manage inbound and outbound opportunities, including RFPs, introductions, partnerships, and trigger-based outreach (e.g., new CMOs, leadership changes, M&A activity), with a focus on quality, fit, and conversion
Proactive Outreach & Relationship Building
Orchestrate proactive outreach programs targeting warm relationships, past clients, agency friends, and high-fit prospects
Coordinate leadership participation in outreach, ensuring consistent weekly touchpoints and clear accountability
Manage relationships with agency search consultants as long-term partners—treating them like clients through thoughtful, quarterly engagement
Marketing & Brand Stewardship
Execute RP3’s marketing plan across owned channels—website, social, newsletter, awards, and events
Manage content updates, including case studies, news, capabilities decks, and credentials
Collaborate with creative, strategy, and leadership teams to translate agency thinking into compelling external storytelling
Support awards submissions, agency listings, and reputation-building initiatives
Project & Team Management
Own timelines, workflows, and resource coordination for all marketing and new business initiatives—driving work forward through collaboration rather than dedicated support staff
Manage cross-functional teams—including leadership, strategists, creatives, freelancers, and vendors—to deliver high-quality work on time
Help manage the new business and marketing budget
Outreach Operations (CRM)
Own CRM (ActiveCampaign) as the central system of record for all new business and marketing outreach
Maintain clean, accurate CRM data—including contacts, companies, activity tracking, and pipeline stages
Build dashboards and reports to track outreach performance, engagement, pipeline velocity, and conversion
Ensure CRM usage is consistent across the agency, documenting best practices and workflows
Requirements WHAT YOU BRING
Ownership mindset, accountability, and excitement to learn and grow
A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with a willingness to wear multiple hats
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
4–6 years of experience in a fast-paced agency or consultancy environment
Strong new business instincts paired with exceptional organization and follow-through
Great writing, presentation, and storytelling skills
Expert-level Google Slides skills and strong proficiency across Google Workspace
Curiosity and comfort experimenting with AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Gemini) to improve research, content, and workflow efficiency
Detail-oriented, deadline-driven, and energized by making complex systems run smoothly
Even-keeled under pressure, with the ability to stay focused, thoughtful, and constructive when things move fast
Experience with CRM-driven outreach and familiarity with Apollo, Winmo, LeadDelta, or similar tools is a plus
Position & Hours This is a full-time position requiring a strong sense of ownership and accountability and a growth mindset. Occasional work outside standard business hours may be required to support pitches, events, or deadlines.
