Save Job

Charleston, South Carolina, United States

GoodUnited is a fundraising software that helps nonprofits harness the power of Social Networks, offering a solution that simplifies lead generation, automates supporter engagement, and maximizes fundraising revenue.

Account Executive (AE) — Sales Athlete The Opportunity GoodUnited is hiring a Sales Athlete... and you’ll know if it’s you.

This isn’t a “sales job.” It’s a chance to win at a high level while doing work that matters. You’ve taken the hard path before. You like standards. You like reps. You like a scoreboard. And you care about who you’re serving.

Nonprofits are under real pressure: declining individual giving, rising acquisition costs, and a growing sense that social media has become a black box. GoodUnited exists to change that, by turning social media into a predictable growth engine through 1:1 direct messaging that delivers new donors, dollars, and data without adding staff.

Why GoodUnited We help nonprofits meet supporters where their attention has moved, social media and direct messaging, and build real relationships at scale.

Our customers have seen outcomes like:

90% net-new donors

10× lower acquisition costs

We’ve helped raise over $1B for nonprofits by focusing on what actually works.

The Role As an Account Executive at GoodUnited, you will sell directly to nonprofit executives, marketers, and fundraisers who feel the pressure and are looking for a better way forward.

Own deals end to end, from discovery through close

Run a disciplined, high-integrity pipeline, no vibes, no hope-based selling

Lead conversations that challenge the status quo and land with conviction

Win trust when the stakes are high by bringing clarity, structure, and insight

This role is for someone who wants to carry a number, close meaningful work, and be part of a team that takes standards seriously.

Who You Are

Have carried a fundraising or revenue number and understand nonprofit realities

Are competitive, energetic, and mission-driven

Like being coached and coaching others, reps matter to you

Are comfortable pushing back when something doesn’t make sense

See yourself as “A” talent and want to be on the “A” team

You bring urgency and presence into the room. You don’t hide behind relationships. You move deals forward.

What You Get

The opportunity to make a lot of money while doing a lot of good

A product that genuinely changes nonprofit outcomes

A front-row seat to building what modern nonprofit growth looks like

Clear expectations, real accountability, and credit for results

Why You Might Not Want This Role If you’re looking for a role where likability matters more than outcomes, this won’t be a fit. If you prefer loose processes, long ramp times, or success measured by activity instead of results, you’ll likely be frustrated here. This role is demanding, it rewards people who like standards, energy, and closing work that matters.
