Job Summary
The ARM provides direct
support to the Senior Bankers/Bankers to originate new business and in partnership with the Senior Banker/Banker is jointly accountable for client revenues/profitability. Key Responsibilities
In partnership with the Senior Banker/Banker the ARM is jointly accountable for client revenues/profitability through the provision of origination support including: Bespoke client analysis including competitor, industry and financial analysis to support origination efforts Develop, produce, and deliver proposals and presentations to clients and prospects, which exhibit a broad understanding SCB's value proposition and competitive advantage In partnership with the Banker, participate in conversations with clients to better understand client business and account strategy as well as related opportunities and transactions Research and expand expertise of the TMT Industry. Leverage industry knowledge and monitor key industry drivers to support origination efforts and client dialogue Provide support on new business transactions including the preparation of transaction memos, return analysis, transaction structuring, and coordination with Product and Credit teams Support the Senior Banker/Banker with the proactive engagement and management of internal deal teams (all relevant product and functional partners) for complex transactions Understand and be able to articulate the overall strategy for each client and work with product teams to maximize cross-sell and return on risk weighted assets Ensure all relevant client team members/internal stakeholders have been appropriately engaged by the Banker with respect to the planning and communication of the relevant approved strategy for each client Ensure adherence to all sales discipline requirements i.e. provide support to the Senior Banker/Banker on Account Planning, deal pipeline and call report administration/discipline, Review client profitability data for clients and discuss opportunities/concerns with Senior Banker/Banker. Qualifications
•
Bachelor degree in Banking, Economics, Finance or Accounting preferred. •
Ideally 3+ years experience in banking •
Risk & AML certified as stipulated by Bank policy •
Languages: Business English External: FINRA member: Series 79 and Series 63, SIE (Can be Obtained After Joining) Internal: Credit training About Standard Chartered

The final offer will be determined on an individualised basis using a number of variables, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience and education, internal relativity, and specific work location.
