About the Role
The Senior Sales & Growth Officer is responsible for driving the Bank’s lease and loan growth through strategic sales leadership, client relationship development, and direct production. This role oversees the sales department, develops new business opportunities, and contributes personally to revenue growth. Working alongside the CEO and executive team, the officer plays a key role in shaping and contributing to the Bank’s sales strategies, marketing plans, and long-term growth initiatives. This position combines executive-level leadership with hands-on business development and requires a leader who thrives in both strategy and execution.
What You'll Be Doing
- Contribute to the Bank’s production through personal sales goals.
- Create, market, and manage lease and loan products.
- Negotiate transaction terms and participate in the credit approval process.
- Conduct market analysis and competitor research to identify new opportunities.
- Represent the Bank at industry events, associations, and shareholder meetings.
Leadership & Team Management
- Lead and manage the sales department, including performance evaluations, coaching, and development.
- Establish sales processes, structure, and programs to achieve growth targets.
- Develop annual marketing and sales plans, including advertising and lead generation strategies.
- Partner with IT to implement tools that enhance sales and transaction management.
Client Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, prospects, and referral partners.
- Ensure client satisfaction while aligning with the Bank’s profitability goals.
- Oversee renewals, negotiations, and long-term client relationship development.
Strategic & Executive Contributions
- Collaborate with the CEO and executive team on strategic planning and budgeting.
- Participate in board meetings, committees, and executive leadership initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with banking regulations in all sales and marketing practices.
- Oversee collateral management, asset liquidation, and collections as needed.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Marketing, or related field (required).
- Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration (preferred).
- 8+ years of progressive sales, business development, or banking experience with at least 3 years in leadership.
- Proven success in direct sales production and managing high-performing sales teams.
- Strong knowledge of lease and loan products, commercial lending, and banking operations.
