
My client is seeking a highly motivated
Business Development Associate
to support and grow our strategic retail partnerships-specifically with
Walmart, Sam's Club, and Target . This role plays a critical part in expanding our brand presence, driving sales programs, and developing new business opportunities within key accounts. Ideal candidates are based in Bentonville, Arkansas.

Key Responsibilities
Based in Bentonville, Arkansas, the Business Development Associate will build, grow, and maintain strong relationships with designated accounts, including Walmart, Sam's Club, and Target. Conduct regular sales calls, onsite client visits, and present new products to retail partners. Execute and monitor in-store promotions to maximize visibility, brand engagement, and sell-through. Provide expertise on product assortment, merchandising, and shelving strategies that drive traffic and conversion. Identify opportunities for new business growth and present recommendations to leadership. Participate in weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual sales meetings, as well as required training. Complete administrative tasks such as expense reports and documentation in a timely manner. Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.
Profile Qualifications Bachelor's degree required. Located in Bentonville, Arkansas Minimum 3 years of sales experience in the FMCG industry
(frozen, CPG, food and beverage manufacturing preferred). Previous experience as a Sales Coordinator or Business Development Associate Strong understanding of sales cycles across retailers, wholesalers, and foodservice channels. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to organize, prioritize, and operate effectively in a fast‑paced environment. Ability and willingness to travel approximately 50% within assigned territory. Valid driver's license and clean driving record. Proficient in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office Suite.
