Because Your Career Matters to US! Position Overview As a Financial Service Representative (FSR) at US Community Credit Union, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional member experiences through expert financial guidance, accurate transaction processing, and proactive relationship building. You'll serve as both a financial liaison and a problem solver; helping members achieve their financial goals while ensuring smooth daily branch operations. Member Assistance & Branch Productivity (35%) Provide prompt, efficient, and friendly assistance to members with a wide range of financial transactions. Take initiative to identify and complete unassigned or pending tasks without prompting. Contribute to overall branch efficiency through opening/closing duties, lobby maintenance, and other responsibilities as assigned by branch leadership. Cash Handling & Transaction Accuracy (20%) Maintain an accurate and balanced cash drawer. Process member transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments with precision. Complete additional services including money orders, cashier's checks, and other member requests while ensuring compliance and security. Member Service Standards (20%) Consistently demonstrate the credit union's service standards through professionalism, courtesy, and dependability. Support a positive team environment built on collaboration and mutual respect. Deliver high-quality service to all members and individuals conducting business with the credit union. Member Education & Referrals (10%) Educate members about USCCU's full range of products and services, aligning solutions with their unique financial needs. Participate in product focus campaigns and branch goals programs by submitting quality referrals through the core system. Take an active role in achieving branch performance and service goals. Product & Service Knowledge (10%) Demonstrate comprehensive understanding of the credit union's products, services, and digital tools. Clearly communicate product benefits and recommend solutions that enhance member satisfaction and financial success. Embody USCCU's mission and values by fostering trust, collaboration, and a member-first culture. Other Duties (5%) Perform additional job-related tasks as required or assigned by branch leadership. Knowledge and Skills: One month to twelve months of similar or related experience. A high school education or GED. Work involves contact with persons beyond immediate associates regarding routine matters for the purpose of giving or obtaining information which may require some discussion. Outside contacts take the form of service to the public (members or vendors), requiring ordinary courtesy in providing assistance and information. Must possess good communications skills, excellent organizational skills; be proficient in MS Word and Excel; be able to operate a 10 key calculator and computer keyboard. Working Environment/Physical Demands: Work involves everyday risks or discomforts that require normal safety precautions typical of such places as offices, meeting and training rooms, etc. Employees work primarily in an office setting under generally favorable working conditions. The job requires walking, sitting, bending, stooping, standing for long periods of time, or similar activities. Employees frequently lift objects up to 25 pounds, occasional lift heavy objects from 26 to 50 pounds, yet seldom from 51 to 100 pounds.
