Administrative Sales Support

The Administrative Sales Support position will provide general sales assistance to the local office sales team. This position utilizes skills to make certain that sales personnel have the proper information and assist with job requirements for customer sales. Agreement and alignment with EMCOR/Mesa's written philosophy of sales, established processes and procedures related to sales. Provide accurate, timely support to the sales team or other sales team member when designated. Learn and understand Energy Benchmarking, Energy Star, Energy Analysis, Air Advice Tools, ASHRAE 180 programs or other utility incentive programs related to maintenance sales. Provide administrative support to sales team members engaged in one or more of the above. Process Energy Star or other Benchmarking documents. Process energy analysis information needed to obtain the energy analysis report. Be responsible for transferring Energy Star, Benchmarking, and Energy Analysis information to Air Advise, the appropriate 3rd party, or utility contact. Provide support to respond to RFP and/or RFQ requests related to maintenance or project opportunities. Provide scope development support for maintenance sales team members. Communicating with internal and external individuals is needed to gather information for quoted work. Communicate with vendors as needed to gather costs for services needed to complete proposals. Development and completion of bid temps related to the maintenance being quoted. Complete project binders or materials needed for client presentations. Interact with departments within Mesa as needed about assigned tasks. Amend, adjust, change scopes, bid temps, presentation documents, etc. as required or requested. Maintain constant communication with the Director of Maintenance Sales, Executive Assistant and/or salesperson being supported. Review the Maintenance Cancellation list. Provide a list of canceled contracts that the Director of Maintenance Sales should contact for the last week of each month. Interacting with fellow Sales Team members and other departments (i.e. Operations, chiller teams, project management, etc.) in a professional manner. Demonstrate a personal commitment to personal and professional growth and development by attendance at product and sales training events, participation at all professional training provided by EMCOR/Mesa, etc. Associate's degree or equivalent experience. 3+ years' experience working in administrative support at a construction/HVAC/building automation company. Strong Excel and MS Office skills required. Self-Motivated. Attention to Detail. Organized. Ability to time manage and prioritize. Strong Interpersonal skills. Dependable. Ability to work under pressure. Compensation Range: $30 - $36 per hour.
