Our 12-week (May 18, 2026 to August 7, 2026), full-time (40 hours per week), paid internship program provides exposure to key areas of our business. Interns will participate in hands-on projects, networking events, community service, and mentorship opportunities while gaining a deeper understanding of the banking industry. What You Will Gain

The Retail Banking internship will provide exposure to key Retail Banking functions such as branch operations, branch learning and development, sales, and customer relations. As a Retail Banking intern, you will work with experienced professionals to support and execute a variety of Retail Banking initiatives that help cultivate a positive branch and customer experience and ensure compliance with industry standards. The Retail Banking Internship is an excellent opportunity to develop your skills, gain practical knowledge, and contribute to the company's success. Essential Job Functions
Participate in Retail training Programs such as Teller Training to understand core banking knowledge, process customer transactions accurately and efficiency providing a positive customer experience Service customers with banking needs, answering questions, and handling account inquiries under management direction Learn sales culture by attending sales meetings and customer sales calls; identify opportunities to provide products or services and generate client referrals as appropriate; Refer customers to partners when additional expertise is required Create and deliver content for branch leadership meetings, training material and resources for branch team members Complete Branch Operational Control Assessment and other operational soundness processes Complete regular account and reviews for operational excellence Participate in and support Retail Banking data organization projects involving products and services Attend and participate in team meetings to understand planning and decision-making processes, gain insights into team dynamics and exposure to various functions and organizational processes Attend a continuing education event, branch visit, and participate in a community service opportunity to promote corporate social responsibility Attend weekly meetings to collaborate with interns from other departments within the company to share knowledge, build power skills, and share experiences in the program Participate in presentation at conclusion of program, showcasing your learning and contributions to the Executive Leadership team What We Are Looking For
Actively involved in the campus community college students who are eager to learn and take initiative in a professional setting with a GPA of 3.0 or higher pursuing a degree in Business, Communication Studies or a related field and: Skills/Knowledge
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) and ability to effectively learn and utilize department specific systems and software Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to take initiative and prioritize multiple tasks and projects; consistently meet established deadlines Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate confidentially, clearly, professionally, and confidently with internal partners, customers, management, and other stakeholders Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively to find a solution Quality customer service skills; friendly, helpful attitude, patience, and attentiveness Physical Demands and Work Environment
Ability to remain in a stationary position, often standing, for prolonged periods of time Ability to repetitively use a telephone, computer mouse, and keyboard for extended durations Ability to lift, move, and carry branch equipment up to 30 pounds Ability to read, write, hear, and understand English; bilingual preferred Ability to participate in rotational Saturday schedule to provide branch support Reasonable accommodations will be provided as required by law to enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the job How to Apply
