Pay Rate $22.50
Minimum Experience/Education Graduation from high school or completion of its equivalency and one (1) year of related administrative/office experience; or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
Departmental Preferred Experience, Skills, Training/Education: 1-2 years of experience working in a human resources or related business office environment handling high volume data entry of personnel actions and/or payroll actions. Demonstrated data entry accuracy and efficiency with strong attention to detail. Current or previous experience working with Banner HR or related automated payroll system. Demonstrated ability to work independently and prioritize work within established deadlines. Ability to identify and resolve data discrepancies to ensure data integrity.
Duties and Responsibilities This position is responsible for the accurate and timely data entry of employment, leave, and/or pay-related actions (new hire, promotion, horizontal, special payment, leave of absence, LWOP, separation, etc.) associated with all University employee designations (faculty, staff, non-student temporary, and student).
Ensures/maintains data integrity for information that is manually and automatically entered into Banner HR and employee personnel records.
