What You'll Be Doing: MUST RESIDE IN NEW MEXICO We are on the hunt for a strategic and collaborative Associate Director to spearhead our engagement with a significant and complex health plan and its associated provider practices. The perfect candidate will forge deep relationships, act as a trusted advisor, and possess a strong entrepreneurial mindset. Reporting to the Director of Strategic Accounts, you will play a crucial role in addressing the operational needs of the health plan while nurturing relationships with medical groups throughout the market. Key Responsibilities: Support the health plan in fulfilling its objectives and outcomes, including relationship management, growth, retention, and customer satisfaction goals. Develop and maintain relationships with key practice groups and providers, tailoring engagement strategies based on performance metrics. Establish practice goals and closely monitor their achievement. Foster trusted relationships with daily health plan contacts, practices, providers, and internal teams. Lead regular partnership review meetings, including relationship mapping, issue identification, and action planning, in preparation for scheduled Client Value Meetings. Utilize data-driven resources to conduct effective meetings and collaborative work sessions with the client and relevant Subject Matter Experts (SMEs). Have a solid understanding of Evolent’s products and services and articulate the value proposition clearly and compellingly. Collaborate with the Plan's Provider Engagement Team and practice contacts to ensure the successful adoption and engagement of Evolent's solutions (e.g., prior authorization, clinical pathways), facilitating timely patient access to care and enhancing provider satisfaction, as measured by CSAT and NPS scores. Work hand-in-hand with the Evolent Clinical Team to support initiatives based on key findings. Support and Development: Create outstanding presentation materials and strategies for senior stakeholder engagement, highlighting relevant content and delivering compelling narratives using data. Implement best practices in relationship management and drive clear communication of value. Collaborate with internal teams to prepare materials and strategies for regular partnership reviews, including relationship mapping, issue identification, and action planning. Proactively manage risks and identify opportunities across the account. Incorporate client and provider feedback into Evolent's product development and strategic planning. Operations and Leadership: Collaborate across functions to monitor issue resolution and ensure timely follow-up, particularly related to provider challenges. Proactively oversee and coordinate internal collaboration to ensure prompt identification and resolution of client risks. Maintain a broad perspective on client health, managing internal processes for issue resolution through the internal ticketing system and email communications. Advocate for the client within Evolent, acting as an ambassador and the primary expert on client priorities and operational execution within the plan. Oversee adherence to client contracts, including SLA performance and regulatory adherence. Leverage advanced analytics to guide engagement strategies, monitor performance, and spot improvement opportunities. Engage with practice leadership and administrators to influence clinical and operational changes through effective communication and facilitation. Utilize your experience with practices to provide high-quality provider network engagement and performance reporting for health plans. Qualifications (Required & Preferred): Bachelor's Degree. 5+ years in a client or account management role. Healthcare experience is essential; clinical background preferred. Exceptional emotional intelligence and capacity to connect with diverse stakeholders, actively listening and addressing key sensitivities. Proven ability to communicate, present, and influence effectively at all organizational levels. Success in managing relationships with clinical and administrative leadership. Strong understanding of healthcare market dynamics, payer/provider relationships, and utilization management. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Willingness to travel up to 25-30% (Required). The expected base salary for this position ranges from $110,000 to $125,000. This role is also eligible for a bonus component based on predefined performance criteria. Evolent offers comprehensive benefits (including health insurance) to qualifying employees as part of our total compensation package. All compensation decisions are based on the skills and experience required for the position and are commensurate with the qualifications of selected individuals, which may vary above and below the stated range.
