Join our dynamic team as the Associate Director of Scientific Communications, where you will play a pivotal role in shaping the scientific and medical communications strategy for our CNS therapeutic area portfolio. This position is essential for driving operational success through the development of core content assets and managing our global publications plan. You will work directly with the Senior Director of CNS Medical Communications and provide mentorship to the Manager of Medical Core Content, ensuring all materials are scientifically accurate, consistent, and compliant. Key Responsibilities Include: Develop and Execute Global Scientific Communication Strategy:

Collaborate with the Senior Director and cross-functional teams to create a comprehensive medical communications strategy for the CNS portfolio. Content Development Oversight:

Guide and mentor the Manager of Medical Core Content in producing high-quality scientific content, including the Scientific Communications Platform, Global Publications Strategy, and various medical materials. Publications Management:

Lead publication strategy and oversee the execution of global publication plans, ensuring the timely submission of abstracts, posters, and manuscripts in adherence to Good Publication Practices. Medical Information Content Generation:

Ensure accuracy, evidence-based content, and compliance with regulatory requirements, while maintaining collaboration across various teams to ensure messaging consistency. Scientific Narrative Management:

Direct the core scientific lexicon and ensure consistent messaging in Medical Affairs materials. Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Partner with Clinical Development and Regulatory teams to incorporate new data into communication materials effectively. Vendor Management:

Oversee relationships with medical communication agencies, ensuring high-quality deliverables while managing budgets. Qualifications: Advanced scientific degree (PharmD, MD, PhD, or equivalent) with a strong grasp of clinical development and medical science, particularly in CNS. Minimum of 7 years in Medical Affairs or Scientific Communications within pharma or biotech; 3 years of experience in guiding or mentoring teams. Robust experience in medical writing and managing core scientific content for global use, alongside demonstrated publication management capabilities. Essential Skills and Competencies: Proven ability to mentor and guide team members while ensuring the quality of projects. Expertise in interpreting complex data and applying it to scientific communications. Strong organizational and interpersonal skills to manage multiple projects and communicate effectively with diverse audiences. Our compensation package includes a competitive salary ranging from $164,530.00 to $245,985.00, along with comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, and retirement plans.
