About the Role

:

We are hiring a ?Client Retention Associate to support and grow our client retention efforts.? This role focuses on maintaining strong client relationships, proactively addressing at-risk accounts and ensuring a high? quality client experience throughout the life? of the account.

Location:

This is a hybrid role reporting to our corporate office in Bozeman (40 Enterprise Blvd Suite 201 Bozeman, MT 59718)

Key Responsibilities:

Manage retention conversations with existing clients

?Handle objections and provide coverage comparisons

Support renewal efforts by addressing concerns, resolving issues and reinforcing Proper's value

Maintain accurate notes and follow established retention workflows

Collaborate cross-functionally with underwriting, ?C?AM team and support

Qualifications:

1-3 years of experience in account management, customer support? or sales

Strong communication skills and comfort handling difficult client conversations

Highly organized ?and ?efficient with quick turnaround

?Coachable and receptive to feedback

Comfortable working in a fast-paced? environment

What Success Looks Like:

Clients feel heard, supported and confident in continuing their relationship? with Proper

Clear reduction in avoidable cancellations and improved client satisfaction

Retention conversations are timely, professional and well documented

Strong partnership with the Director of Retention

Compensation:

This role is 100% commission based.

Compensation is earned entirely through performance based incentives tied to client retention.

On-Target Earnings:

$70,000

Commission is directly tied to retention performance, with increased earning potential for surpassing retention goals

This structure is designed for self-motivated individuals who are confident in their ability to drive measurable retention impact and want direct control over their earning potential.

Disclosure required under applicable law in California, Colorado, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New York, New Jersey, and Washington states: The expected earnable income for this position is up to $70,000 and will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate's skills, experience and working location, as well as the specific position's business line, scope and level.
