Build your future with us The Cincinnati Insurance Companies' Commercial Pricing Analytics department has an opening for an Actuary I-II Large Commercial Account Pricing. This position is based at our Headquarters in Fairfield, Ohio.

The pay range for this position is $110,000 - $180,000 annually. The pay determination is based on the applicant’s education, experience, location, knowledge, skills, and abilities. Eligible associates may also receive an annual cash bonus and stock incentives based on company and individual performance.

Be ready to:

review large commercial account pricing proposals; communicate recommendations to underwriters; collaborate with underwriters during pricing process

perform loss sensitive pricing and collateral evaluation

maintain and enhance pricing tools

research and implement pricing improvements including construction of multi-variate pricing models

enhance business unit reporting; distill and communicate key findings

build tools to enhance business unit productivity

perform ad hoc analyses

Be equipped with:

robust SQL experience; strong SAS experience is a plus

proficient in Excel VBA

basic Python a plus; specifically, pandas/NumPy, Excel/file system manipulation, generalized linear models

experience with penalized regression models is a plus

excellent communication, interpersonal, and organization skills

Bring education or experience from:

a bachelor's degree or higher in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, physics, economics or a similar technical field of study; business coursework is a plus

four or more years of P&C actuarial experience

three or more years of commercial pricing experience

large commercial experience (preferred)

candidate is expected to have achieved ACAS designation; candidates who have achieved or are pursuing FCAS designation are preferred
