
The opportunity
Delaware North is hiring a full-time Senior Tax Analyst to join our team in Buffalo, New York. As a Senior Tax Analyst, you will be responsible for overseeing monthly tax compliance, participating in the monthly accounting close process, and collaborating on annual compliance. Pay Minimum – Anticipated Maximum Base Salary: $89,900 - $113,100 / year
In addition to base salary, we offer an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan. What will you do?
Collaborate with outside advisers to file monthly sales and property tax returns
Manage direct and indirect tax filings to ensure timely reporting
Prepare monthly journal entries and account reconciliations
Perform tax research for state tax queries such as nexus
Assist in the preparation of tax provisions and documentation to support audit readiness
Support all tax ad-hoc requests
More about you
Bachelor’s degree in accounting
Minimum of 3 years of tax experience with a public accounting firm or large multi-national company
Solid understanding of U.S. federal and state tax and tax accounting principles
Strong written and verbal communication skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, tax research, and general ERP experience
Certified Public Accountant or intent to obtain CPA is a plus
