Frito Lay is PepsiCo’s snack manufacturing, sales and distribution operating unit. They have the world’s largest portfolio of billion dollar foods and are specifically responsible for the growth of some of America’s favorite snack foods, including FRITOS®, LAY’S®, DORITOS®, CHEETOS®, AND TOSTITOS®.
The District Sales Leader will have responsibility for all aspects of managing a sales district comprised of 10-25 Route Sales Representatives (RSR’s) and will lead a $5-15 Million dollar business.
Responsibilities
Each District Sales Leader leads a $5-15 Million dollar business.
All District Sales Leaders are responsible for administrative and technical support, as well as facilitating information to direct reports
Effectively develop, build and maintain positive relationships with customers (store management) while growing sales/selling in/executing sales programs and initiatives
Lead district meetings focused on a plan to achieve sales objectives and goals
Conduct coaching with your route sales reps to discuss performance, selling and customer service skills
Coach your team to successfully sell against baseline and promotional opportunities
Develop sales strategies through collecting and interpreting statistical data utilizing PepsiCo specific applications
Partner with product supply team to build accurate forecasts based on promotions and historical performance to ensure product availability
Prepare and deliver sales presentations to customers as required
Ability to work a flexible schedule including early mornings, evenings and/or weekends
The District Sales Leader (DSL) will receive a customized on-boarding plan to assimilate and develop the necessary skillset in preparation for a District Sales Leader position. This includes learning the Frito Lay Route Sales System and gaining exposure to the key players and functions across the Region Business Team while developing an understanding of our Direct Store Delivery (DSD) network and supply chain.
The job is in a physical work environment with varying length of work days/schedule
Compensation and Benefits
The expected compensation range for this position is between $73,600 - $123,150.
Location, confirmed job-related skills, experience, and education will be considered in setting actual starting salary. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range during the hiring process.
Bonus based on performance and eligibility target payout is 15% of annual salary paid out quarterly.
Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent work experience required
Minimum 2 years of experience leading or managing a frontline team, with proven sales results
Strong leadership and communication skills required
Excellent negotiation, influencing, and follow‑up abilities
Proven ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, constantly changing environment
Consumer packaged goods experience in a Direct Store Delivery (DSD) environment preferred / highly preferred
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Must obtain DOT certification during pre‑onboarding
Valid driver’s license required; must meet DOT and Fleet qualifications
Safe driving record required; must meet DOT and Fleet qualifications
Able and willing to lift up to 40 lbs. periodically
Must have an indefinite right to work in the United States
