Job Summary: The
Renewals Specialist
is responsible for owning and executing a portfolio of renewal contracts within an assigned book of business. This individual will be responsible for minimizing customer attrition, identifying growth opportunities, and providing insights to the business that improve future outcomes for Conductor and our customers. You will also be responsible for ensuring maximum results for the Conductor Revenue team while strengthening partnerships with existing customers.
What you’ll do (Responsibilities):
Own and execute negotiation strategies for a high quantity of renewals that maximize contract value while enhancing customer trust
Follow and adhere to best practices for all internal processes including opportunity management, data quality and accuracy, CRM hygiene, quoting and forecasting
Maximize account growth by playing a role on the Revenue Account Management Team and helping to identify incremental opportunities upon contract renewal, including the appropriate resources
Maintain and update a rolling forecast of your territory and communicate any renewal risk to internal resources in order to develop resolution strategies
Collaborate with internal resources such as account managers, customer success, legal, and revenue operations to develop strategies for upcoming renewals
Achieve financial and strategic revenue, bookings and billings targets
Evaluate your portfolio to prioritize time to render the most favorable outcomes
Who you are (Required Skills/Abilities):
4-year college degree preferred or equivalent work experience
At least 2 years of prior experience
in Business Development, Inside Sales, or Sales/Customer support function in a corporate setting required, ideally in the SaaS space
Strong negotiation skills with experience driving contracts to completion on time
Ability to demonstrate a strategic mindset to enable persuasive value conversations with customers at an executive level
Experience in a business development, or quota-carrying sales/customer success role with proven achievement
Strong process management, financial acumen and contractual engineering skills
Ability to react and adapt to potential rapid shifts in priorities
Strong level of urgency, organization and prioritization skills
Ability to project manage the renewal cycle, pulling in necessary resources
Ability to use AI tools to maximize efficiency and productivity
Must be fluent in German & English
