This person should have previous experience running commercial or retail projects, ground up, from start to finish. A huge plus if you have experience with health/fitness clubs. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all stages of construction projects, from initial planning to completion, ensuring the projects are executed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This position requires extensive travel, as the individual will be responsible for managing multiple projects simultaneously across various locations. Responsibilities:1. Oversee all stages of the project, from initial planning to completion.2. Coordinate and manage all on-site construction activities, including subcontractors, materials, and equipment.3. Ensure all construction activities comply with project specifications, building codes, and safety regulations.4. Develop and maintain construction schedules, identifying potential problems and implementing solutions to keep the project on track.5. Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.6. Conduct regular site inspections to ensure the quality of work and adherence to safety standards.7. Prepare and submit regular project status reports, including progress, risks, and budget updates.8. Address and resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise during the construction process.9. Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, innovation, and high performance.Qualifications:1. 5 years of experience as a Superintendent, 8+ years of experience in the construction industry.2. Proven track record of successfully completed ground up projects.3. Extensive knowledge of construction procedures, equipment, and safety guidelines.4. Strong leadership and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams.6. Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.7. Proficiency in construction software, including project management and scheduling tools.8. Willingness to travel extensively and adapt to different work environments.9. A bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field is preferred.10.
