This permanent, full-time position offers an exciting opportunity for a professional who is passionate about immigration law and committed to providing exceptional legal services. The successful candidate will be exclusively responsible for deportation and removal defense.We encourage all those with immigration law experience to apply - whether that was as a law clerk, intern, paralegal, or attorney!Responsibilities Representing clients in immigration court proceedings, including removal defense cases. Handling various aspects of litigation, including preparing pleadings, discovery, and briefs, and conducting depositions and trials. Advising clients on their immigration rights, laws, and procedures. Preparing and submitting applications for visas, green cards, citizenship, and asylum. Conducting thorough legal research to support client cases. Collaborating with legal assistants and paralegals to prepare case files and legal documents. Keeping up to date with changes in immigration laws and regulations. Providing exceptional customer service by maintaining regular communication with clients and answering their queries promptly.Qualifications Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. A valid license to practice law in your jurisdiction. A minimum of 1 year of immigration law experience, whether as an attorney, paralegal, or law clerk. Experience and/or interest in deportation defense law. Knowledge of immigration law and procedures. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex legal issues in a clear and understandable manner. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and make sound legal judgments. High level of professionalism and ethics, with a commitment to confidentiality and integrity. Ability to work independently and manage a high volume of cases effectively.
