Purpose Statement As a Carvel Route Sales Delivery Driver, you will be fully responsible for the direct store delivery of quality products to our supermarket accounts.
Who we are Carvel is part of the Rich’s family of brands. We provide insights to help our customers stay competitive, no matter their size, and offer creative solutions for foodservice, retail, in‑store bakery, deli and prepared foods.
What do we need? Simply put, qualified, hardworking people such as yourself. Route Sales Delivery Drivers are full‑time positions responsible for selling and delivering Carvel & Rich’s complete line of high‑quality frozen goods to existing and new accounts while driving a Carvel truck. Key goals include safety, sales and credit volume, customer service and in‑store merchandising execution.
Route Sales Delivery Drivers’ hours of work vary by assigned route. The route start time can be as early as 3 am and averages 10–12 stops a day—subject to change at any time. Must be able to work Saturdays during peak season.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience What do you need?
Strong work ethic and a team player who puts the customer first
Minimum 21 years of age
Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record (we will be checking)
Ability to climb in and out of the truck and carry goods weighing up to 50 pounds
High school diploma or GED equivalent
CDL‑B permit preferred before start (the fee will be reimbursed 30 days after you obtain the CDL‑B license, which we also pay for). A CDL‑B will be needed to perform the essential functions of the role, but we can help you obtain it if you don’t have it yet.
Previous DSD experience is a bonus
Compensation In accordance with state law, the rate or range provided is a reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role. The actual amount may be higher or lower based on non‑discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, shift differential and location.
Annual Range/Hourly Rate $46,985.45 – $63,568.55
