This is an exceptional opportunity for a seasoned professional to apply their skills in credit, government lending, and commercial lending, and to play a pivotal role in our organization's strategic growth. The successful candidate will be responsible for originating, conducting due diligence, and closing SBA loans in a competitive and fast-paced environment. Responsibilities:As a Permanent SBA BDO, you will be tasked with the following:1. Originate SBA loans through networking, cold-calling, and leveraging existing relationships within the industry.2. Conduct thorough due diligence on potential borrowers, including analyzing credit history, financial statements, and business plans.3. Structure loan terms and packages that align with both the borrower's needs and the organization's risk tolerance.4. Negotiate loan terms with borrowers and work collaboratively with underwriting and closing teams to ensure a smooth transaction.5. Maintain a strong understanding of SBA Standard Operating Procedures, commercial real estate lending, and industry trends to effectively advise clients and identify potential risks.6. Collaborate with internal teams to develop and implement strategies for portfolio growth and risk management.7. Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring all client inquiries and concerns are addressed promptly and professionally.Qualifications:To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following:1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in the Mortgage industry, specifically in SBA lending, commercial lending, and government lending.2. Demonstrated success in originating and closing SBA loans.3. In-depth understanding of credit analysis and underwriting principles.4. Strong knowledge of SBA Standard Operating Procedures and commercial real estate lending.5. Proven ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with a diverse client base.6. Exceptional negotiation, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.7. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex financial information to a variety of audiences.8. Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.9. Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
