We are looking for a dynamic, resourceful, and skilled individual to join our team and take charge of our construction projects. You will be responsible for the overall supervision of construction projects, ensuring they are completed in a timely and cost-effective manner. Responsibilities:As a Permanent Superintendent, your key responsibilities will include:1. Overseeing all phases of construction projects from initial planning to completion.2. Coordinating and directing construction workers and subcontractors.3. Ensuring adherence to quality standards and health and safety regulations.4. Reviewing the work progress on a daily basis.5. Collaborating with architects, engineers, and other construction and building specialists.6. Preparing internal and external reports pertaining to job status.7. Conducting on-site coordination meetings and resolving any issues or conflicts.8. Ensuring all legal requirements, building and safety codes, safety inspections, city guidelines, and local construction regulations are met.9. Implementing effective schedules to ensure timely completion of projects.10. Managing and mitigating project risks.Qualifications:To be successful in this role, the candidate must have:1. A minimum of 2+ years of experience in the construction industry, specifically in a superintendent role.2. Proven experience in project management, construction management, and scheduling.3. Strong knowledge of construction procedures, materials, and project management principles.4. Excellent time management ability and the capability to meet tight deadlines.5. Solid understanding of health and safety regulations in construction.6. Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.7. Ability to read and understand blueprints, schematics, and construction documents.8. Proficiency in construction management software packages.9. A degree in construction management, architecture, engineering or related field is preferred.10.
